A&G Principal Jacob Czarnick leads business development and shapes firmwide strategy in collaboration with the senior leadership team. With 25 years of investment banking experience, he drives new client acquisition and revenue growth across target sectors for lease restructuring, fee owned property sales and lease mitigation and maintains the firm’s relationships with key decision-makers and advisors. This includes senior executives, boards of directors, private equity professionals, financial advisors, attorneys, lenders, developers and brokers.
Throughout his career, he has advised public and private companies, special committees of boards of directors, financial sponsors, lenders, creditor committes and regulatory agencies.
His transaction experience spans M&A, capital raising, restructuring, out-of-court liability management, and special situations financing across sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, consumer/retail, business services, financial institutions, energy, telecommunications, and transportation.
His recognition from industry organizations such as M&A Advisor and Global M&A Network includes “Out-of-Court Restructuring Deal of the Year” (Inseego, T.D. Williamson); “Consumer Discretionary Deal of the Year” (Benitago), and “Top 100 Restructuring Professional.”
Prior to joining A&G in 2026, Czarnick spent 15 years advising companies and creditors on complex restructurings and the prior decade advising large-cap companies on healthy M&A and financing transactions across industries. Most recently, he was a Managing Director in the restructuring group at Raymond James & Associates, following 11 years at Perella Weinberg Partners as a member of its New York–based capital structure advisory group. He began his career in corporate finance and M&A at Credit Suisse First Boston, with additional roles at Bank of America and Citigroup.
Czarnick earned a B.S. in applied economics and management from Cornell University (cum laude and with honors distinction in reasearch) and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
