Tony joined A&G in 2020 and serves as Senior Managing Director on the firm’s project management and business development team. He brings more than 20 years of experience advising clients on complex real estate matters, with a strong track record in negotiations, restructuring, and value creation.
Over the course of his career, Tony has negotiated hundreds of millions in lease savings and led real estate initiatives both in and out of bankruptcy. Since joining A&G, his engagements have included Leslie’s Pool, Big Lots, Rite Aid, Party City, GNC, Guitar Center, Chico’s, Christmas Tree Shops/CTS, David’s Bridal, West Marine, Equinox/Blink Fitness/SoulCycle, 24 Hour Fitness, TooJay’s, and McNellie’s Restaurant Group.
Tony’s expertise spans lease dispositions and restructurings, portfolio optimization, new store development and relocations, excess space reductions, retrofits and expansions, as well as corporate finance and acquisition and disposition initiatives. Prior to A&G, he led the wind-down of real estate and operations for Borders and Waldenbooks and held senior corporate development roles at Owens Corning, focusing on global acquisitions, divestitures, and corporate strategy.
Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Tony is an entrepreneur who has owned many business and real estate holdings. He holds an MBA in corporate finance and accounting and a BS in electrical engineering from Michigan State University, where he was an offensive lineman on the Spartans varsity football team.
