Ted Parris is a seasoned real estate advisor with extensive experience helping corporate tenants navigate complex lease portfolios, restructuring initiatives, and transaction management across the office, retail, and industrial sectors.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Parris has advised mid-sized companies, Fortune 1000 and other large enterprises, including Walgreens, Starbucks, Citibank, UBS, Shell Oil, Toys“R”Us, Exide Technologies, and FTX, on strategies to optimize real estate footprints, reduce lease liabilities, generate significant liquidity from real estate sales, and improve overall financial performance. His work has included both in- and out-of-court real estate transactions, where he has helped clients address critical occupancy challenges and align real estate strategies with broader business objectives.
Prior to joining A&G Real Estate Partners, Mr. Parris founded Parris Monroe Partners, where he focused on real estate sales, lease mitigation, rent reduction, and portfolio management for corporate clients. He also held senior leadership roles at JLL and Newmark, including Executive Managing Director and Co-Chair of the firm’s restructuring group, where he specialized in advising companies on lease renegotiation, real estate sales, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
Mr. Parris has been involved in large-scale real estate assignments spanning more than 100 million square feet and has participated in transactions totaling approximately $10 billion over the course of his career.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University and earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Vanderbilt University.
